How to choose the thermal expansion valve of the air compressor

Jun 02, 2023

The selection and matching of thermal expansion valve plays an important effect on the function of the entire air compressor operating system. The correct selection of thermal expansion valve will make full use of the evaporator, so that the evaporator has always matched the thermal load.
When there is no matching, the refrigerant flow of the system will be more or less, which will cause the refrigeration volume of the thermal expansion valve to increase or decrease.

1. When the opening of the thermal expansion valve is too small, the supply of refrigerant is lacking, and there is no satisfactory refrigerant evaporation in the evaporator, so that the refrigerant evaporates the method of flowing into the evaporator tube. After that, there was no liquid refrigerant evaporated in the evaporator pipeline, as long as the steam was overheated. Therefore, the appropriate part of the evaporator failed to give full play to its efficiency, resulting in lack of air -conditioning refrigeration, slow refrigeration speed, and decreased refrigeration effect, which will negatively affect the system function.

2. Assuming that the opening degree of thermal expansion valve is too large, that is, the amount of liquid supplied to the evaporator to the evaporator is greater than the load of the evaporator. (Wet wet), even the cylinder impact, damage the compressor. Others, when the cooling capacity is too large, it will cause vibration and provide too much liquid to the evaporator intermittently, causing the inhalation pressure of the compressor to shake sharply. Together, the heat expansion valve was too large, which increased the evaporation temperature, decreased the cooling capacity, increased the power consumption of the compressor, and increased power consumption.
