The role of air compressors is mainly to provide the gas needed in the production process. Its uses are particularly wide, and the more common ones are:

1. There are three types of compressors: dynamic, thermal, and volumetric, which are divided according to their working principles.

3. From the perspective of lubrication, there are two types of air compressors: oil-free air compressors and oil-based air compressors.

III. Precautions for the use of air compressors
1. The placement location needs to be away from places with steam and dust, and a filter should be installed at the intake pipe.
2. The external storage tank should be kept clean, and welding or hot processing operations are strictly prohibited near it. The water pressure test of the air tank, the pressure gauge and the safety valve inspection should be done once a year, and the test pressure should be 1.5 times the working pressure.
3. The air compressor operator must undergo special training and fully understand the structure, performance, and operation and maintenance procedures of the air compressor.
4. It is strictly forbidden to operate after drinking, leave the post or do things unrelated to the operation without authorization, and replace the operator without authorization.
5. Before starting the air compressor, check to make sure all valves in the gas tank are open.
